PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Ted Trakas

The best way I know to lift your spirits from the harsh realities of our South Texas winter is . . . to attend our annual VJ neighborhood association meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, January 22th, 2007, Colonies House, 3511 Colony Drive, which is on the north side of Colony Drive between Tioga and Vance Jackson.

I will give a short “state of the neighborhood” address, as President. Woody Halsey will explain what he has been doing with our money, as Treasurer. We will request, cajole and beg for neighborhood representatives to sit on the association board of directors. We will hold elections for association officers.

As usual, our main event is the guest speaker. TBD

And if all this is not enough to convince you to attend our meeting, there is more. Woody is firmly vowing to make this past year his last on active duty, and I do not think I will be able to trick him into staying on. Please join us at the meeting as we thank Woody for his many years of service to the association.
Current 2006 Officers:
President – Ted Trakas (The Summit)
Vice President – Daniel Causey (Foothills)
Secretary – Norma Baird (Charter Oaks Condos)
Treasurer – Woody Halsey (Charter Oaks)
